Levoit states a CADR of 400 m³/h. Because manufacturers calculate room coverage using different numbers of air changes per hour, we treat that CADR figure as the more useful comparison point: it sits well above compact bedroom purifiers and close to the level we would expect for a main living room.

Filtration

Three-stage filtration combines a pre-filter, a particle filter and activated carbon. In plain terms, the pre-filter catches hair and larger dust, the particle stage captures fine airborne particles such as pollen and pet dander, and carbon addresses odours and some gases.

Noise and everyday use

Levoit publishes a quiet/sleep mode for overnight use. It is a capable bedroom option, but the case for this model rests on airflow for larger rooms rather than being the quietest machine here.

Running and ownership costs
