Room size and airflow

Meaco's 20 litres per day describes how much moisture the machine can remove across a larger home. Its purification airflow of up to 160 m³/h describes what it can filter, and does not mean it purifies a whole house to dedicated-purifier standards. This is a 2-in-1 machine: its headline litres-per-day figure describes dehumidification, not air purification. Its purification airflow is the figure to compare against dedicated purifiers, and it is lower than the large dedicated units in our main Top 10.

Filtration

H13 HEPA filtration with stand-alone purification capability. Meaco sells an optional charcoal filter for the Arete range for odour control. It is an extra purchase and is not included as standard, so budget for it separately if odours are your main concern.

Noise and everyday use

We do not hold a published minimum-noise figure for this model, so we do not quote one. Expect dehumidifier-class noise rather than sub-20 dB purifier noise.

Running and ownership costs

Higher dehumidification capacity means a larger compressor and higher running cost than the 6L or 12L; the H13 filter is a periodic replacement, and charcoal is optional.
